Jen, Design Director of CHENG﹣GUO DESIGN, specialize in blending modern textures with natural aesthetics. Through a meticulous manipulation of materials, light and shadow, and spatial proportions, we create tranquil yet richly layered living spaces. In our signature work, "Subtle Interplay of Ink and Glow" white-gray large tiles and stucco paint establish a simple foundation, complemented by orange-brown soft furnishings to create a soft and relaxing living atmosphere. Another work, "Scintillating élan," emphasizes linear beauty and the rhythm of the space, using magnetic lighting extending to the ceiling to connect movement and visuals, creating a poetic landscape. By focusing on designs that resonate with space and life, the Xuguo team was awarded the "Top Ten Haute Couture Home Designers of the Year" award at this year's competition, highlighting the brand's meticulous and gentle design philosophy.

HCA高定家居設計獎由廣州設計週發起，秉持「高定始於品質，忠於個性，精於設計」理念，面向在室設界具有卓越成就和專業能力的企業與設計師參賽，並邀請國際相關領域的翹楚專家與意見領袖組成評審委員會，希冀以設計為引擎，融合家居文化精髓與人居生活價值觀念，遴選符合當代華人菁英生活需求的室內設計及卓越產品，打造華語圈生活的新典範。

The HCA Haute Couture Home Design Award was initiated by the Guangzhou Design Week. Adhering to the concept of "Haute Couture begins with quality, is loyal to individuality, and is refined in design", it is open to companies and designers with outstanding achievements and professional capabilities in the interior design industry. It also invites leading experts and opinion leaders in related international fields to form a judging committee. It hopes to use design as an engine to integrate the essence of home culture with the values ​​of human habitation, select interior designs and excellent products that meet the living needs of contemporary Chinese elites, and create a new model of life in the Chinese-speaking world.

公領域以白灰大板磚和灰泥塗料打造簡潔時髦基調，搭配深木色格柵、地坪及橘褐軟裝，營造溫潤放鬆感，佐以間接照明平衡現代與自然的氛圍，精美吊燈與壁燈增添視覺層次，塑造獨特混搭風格。

The public areas use large white-gray tiles and plaster paint to create a simple and stylish tone, paired with dark wood grilles, floors and orange-brown soft furnishings to create a warm and relaxing feeling. Indirect lighting balances the modern and natural atmosphere, and exquisite chandeliers and wall lamps add visual layers to create a unique mixed style.

客廳採黑白大板磚與木格柵雙層電視牆，前後材質拼接展現冷冽與柔潤的對比美學；圓弧窗畔設計則柔化立柱，增添空間流動感與趣味。

The living room features a double-layer TV wall made of large black and white tiles and wooden grilles. The splicing of front and back materials creates a contrasting aesthetic of coldness and softness. The arc-shaped window design softens the columns, adding a sense of fluidity and interest to the space.

餐廳選用石紋圓角餐桌搭配橘白雙色皮椅，與灰色板岩地坪、實木皮天花板相映成趣，洗鍊優美的幾何造型吊燈懸掛其上，增添藝術感，營造溫馨時尚的用餐氛圍。

The restaurant uses a stone-patterned rounded-corner dining table paired with orange and white leather chairs, which contrast beautifully with the gray slate floor and solid wood ceiling. An elegant geometric chandelier hangs above it, adding an artistic feel and creating a warm and stylish dining atmosphere.

玄關處因風水考量，設置一座衣帽與外出鞋的收納櫃，櫃體中段的長虹玻璃使其輕盈無壓，並援引遠處的自然光灑落；一旁的餐櫃壁面拼接窯變磚，不僅帶有與全屋呼應的質樸觸感，飽和的深藍色彩，亦為周圍沉穩的灰階注入活潑氣息。

Meticulously set up a cabinet at the entryway for placing coats and shoes, as well as to settle the geomancy taboo, and take advantage of the patterned glass in the middle of the cabinet to make it looks lightweight and pressure-free, moreover, introduce the natural light. Make use of kiln tiles to set the back-splash of the sideboard, the rustic feature works in concert with the interior situation, also brings the lively vibe into the sedate layout of gray hues via vivid navy-blue tinge.

客廳天花板的線型磁吸燈向四周延伸，連接下沉的玄關天花板，藉細長迂迴的線性趣味，巧妙修飾高低差並放大空間感；電視牆的大理石延展至牆面與櫃體檯面，讓不對稱的墨色花紋，揮灑得更為飄逸自適，令人沉浸於華美又樸實的山水詩境。

The linear magnetic lights on the living room ceiling extend in all directions, connecting to the sunken entrance ceiling. With the slender and winding linear interest, they cleverly modify the height difference and amplify the sense of space; the marble of the TV wall extends to the wall and cabinet countertops, making the asymmetrical ink-colored patterns more elegant and comfortable, immersing people in the gorgeous and simple landscape poetry.

主臥設計摒棄複雜裝飾，追求極簡風格，運用低飽和度的大地色調與灰白色泥料，搭配原木元素，營造沈穩質樸的療癒氛圍。

The master bedroom design abandons complex decorations and pursues a minimalist style. It uses low-saturation earth tones and gray-white mud materials, combined with original wood elements, to create a calm and simple healing atmosphere.
