Jen, Design Director of CHENG﹣GUO DESIGN, always adhere to the core concept of "drawing inspiration from life and giving unique value and meaning to space", pay attention to the life needs of each owner with a sincere attitude, and accurately integrate elements such as aesthetics, innovation and environmental protection, and strive to build an ideal place for residents to heal their body and mind. This persistence and professionalism in the essence of design has made Xunguo Design repeatedly recognized internationally and won many awards such as the American MUSE Design Awards and the Italian A'Design Award. 2025摩登上海設計周於9月9日開幕，其中中居設計、新浪家居和博華國際展覽，聯合邀請來自海內外的設計精英、企業領袖，盛大舉辦「浪潮100」設計榮耀日暨未來人居論壇。活動中，除了各方優秀設計師齊聚，深入探討眾多住宅及商業空間的創新設計議題，鑽研室內設計業界未來可能趨勢，亦正式發表「榮耀設計獎項」獲獎者，嘉獎在時代浪潮中勇於拓寬眼界、引領設計界持續向前邁進的室內設計先驅！
The 2025 Modern Shanghai Design Week opened on September 9th. Zhongju Design, Sina Home, and UBM International Exhibitions jointly invited design elites and business leaders from around the world to host the grand "Wave 100" Design Glory Day and Future Habitat Forum. The event brought together outstanding designers to discuss innovative design topics for residential and commercial spaces, delving into potential future trends in the interior design industry. The event also officially announced the winners of the "Glory Design Award," honoring interior design pioneers who have bravely broadened their horizons and led the design world forward amidst the tide of the times.
材質、敘事、空間詩學：劉總監的上海設計美學探尋
Materials, Narratives, and Spatial Poetics: Director Jen's Exploration of Shanghai Design Aesthetics
藉此領獎契機，劉總監還與一眾設計師參與「2025台灣設計師・上海軟裝美學之旅」，走訪當地多處極具代表性的美學場域與機構，包括「書香門地」體驗木藝與美學的匠心共鳴、「法視界軟裝」領略軟裝詩意與色彩材質的平衡之道、「維几設計」深入敘事與空間邏輯的未來對話……最終在「吳濱設計事務所」進行跨界思辨與創作自由的深度交流中，為此次活動畫下圓滿句點。
Taking this opportunity to receive the award, Director Jen also participated in the "2025 Taiwan Designers Shanghai Soft Furnishing Aesthetics Tour" with a group of designers. They visited many representative local aesthetic venues and institutions, including "Shuxiangmendi" to experience the ingenious resonance of wood art and aesthetics, "Fashijie Soft Furnishings" to appreciate the balance between the poetry of soft furnishings and color and material, and "Weiji Design" to deepen the future dialogue between narrative and spatial logic... Finally, the event came to a successful conclusion with an in-depth exchange of cross-border thinking and creative freedom at "Wu Bin Design Office".
對劉總監而言，此次上海之行不僅是設計視野的拓展，更是一場關於「何為好設計」的心靈叩問，當中最珍貴的收穫，是在跨界對話中令她重新審視設計的本質——如何讓空間成為情感的載體，讓美學回歸生活的溫度。當設計跨越地域的界限，思維突破既定的框架，才能在傳承與創新之間，尋得那份屬於東方的、恰到好處的平衡。
For Director Jen, this trip to Shanghai not only broadened her design horizons but also ignited a soul-searching inquiry into the question of "what constitutes good design." The most valuable lesson she gained was the cross-disciplinary dialogue that led her to reexamine the essence of design: how to make space a vehicle for emotion and bring aesthetics back to the warmth of everyday life. Only when design transcends geographical boundaries and thinking transcends established frameworks can the perfect balance between heritage and innovation, a characteristically Eastern aesthetic, be found.

公領域以白灰大板磚和灰泥塗料打造簡潔時髦基調，搭配深木色格柵、地坪及橘褐軟裝，營造溫潤放鬆感，佐以間接照明平衡現代與自然的氛圍，精美吊燈與壁燈增添視覺層次，塑造獨特混搭風格。
The public areas use large white-gray tiles and plaster paint to create a simple and stylish tone, paired with dark wood grilles, floors and orange-brown soft furnishings to create a warm and relaxing feeling. Indirect lighting balances the modern and natural atmosphere, and exquisite chandeliers and wall lamps add visual layers to create a unique mixed style.
客廳採黑白大板磚與木格柵雙層電視牆，前後材質拼接展現冷冽與柔潤的對比美學；圓弧窗畔設計則柔化立柱，增添空間流動感與趣味。
The living room features a double-layer TV wall made of large black and white tiles and wooden grilles. The splicing of front and back materials creates a contrasting aesthetic of coldness and softness. The arc-shaped window design softens the columns, adding a sense of fluidity and interest to the space.
餐廳選用石紋圓角餐桌搭配橘白雙色皮椅，與灰色板岩地坪、實木皮天花板相映成趣，洗鍊優美的幾何造型吊燈懸掛其上，增添藝術感，營造溫馨時尚的用餐氛圍。
The restaurant uses a stone-patterned rounded-corner dining table paired with orange and white leather chairs, which contrast beautifully with the gray slate floor and solid wood ceiling. An elegant geometric chandelier hangs above it, adding an artistic feel and creating a warm and stylish dining atmosphere.
